How do you do what’s never been done? I LIKE IT ON THE BEACH “ILIOTB” is a fashion forward fin-tech philanthropy with software product suites that create an ecosystem accessed on the blockchain that aims to reward our NFT holders for helping keep the beaches and oceans clean and reducing our carbon footprint. Ten percent (10%) of all profits from our merch, app (coming soon), travel/vacation bookings , NFTs, other potential software products and partnerships are donated to local and global cleanup efforts or initiatives such as as Ocean Conservancy, Team Seas and our own curated lists of smaller organizations we partner with to help clean up efforts.
We partnered with Jamaican local organizations such as “876 volunteer” to rally up beach loving volunteers and garnered support to pay from supplies by Jamaica National Bank’s “JN Group”. Our founder’s sister and Miss Jamaica 3rd runner up used her platform to bring awareness to the ILIOTB project during the Miss Jamaica World competition.
After a successful pilot program we feel overwhelmed with responsibility and anxiety to be able to execute our clean ups in more selected locations and be able to raise funds for locations we cannot reach. The feeling of accomplishment rushed over us knowing we helped the environment and helped the beach loving community participate in giving back to their own future beach enjoyment with a pristine coast line by the Palisados strip in Kingston, Jamaica. This was priceless!
